Master Khoo's Advice For 2009

To start off well in the year of 2009, it is recommended to conduct a Blessing for the individual or household. The aim is to purify one's state of mind, followed by blessing one with health and wealth. This Blessing will be for all regardless of religious or spiritual differences.

With reference to the number grid on the left, each number will represent a direction sector which will determine different states and one's luck throughout the year. These states vary from year to year, and the following provides an insight into the different numbers and sectors for the year 2009.

1 - North West - Water Star will bring parents good luck and prosperity in the year 2009. Possibility of romance, moving house. Adverse effects include kidney problems.

Some Pointers for the New Year
1) If you have not spring cleaned, 25 Jan (Sun) is the last auspicious date. Start early in the morning before 09:00am.

2) 23, 24 & 25 Jan are all good dates for stopping work.

3) The auspicious dates for starting work again are -

28 Jan (Wed), betw 09:40 - 09:50am
29 Jan (Thu), betw 10:30 - 10:40am
30 Jan (Fri), betw 08:20 - 08:30am
02 Feb (Mon), betw 07:50 - 08:00am

4) On the first day (26 Jan) of Chinese New Year, plan your first destination to be at the East or West sectors relative to your house. Visit your first destination between 09:00 - 11:00am or 03:00 - 05:00pm. Alternatively, do it between 07:00 - 09:00am. Wear your favourable colours.
